Funny story about this banana — we originally thought it was something completely different. But once it fruited, the long, slender curved shape made it clear: this was actually a plantain.
These plantains are fully ripened before being cut into quarters and gently dehydrated. They have a mellow, slightly sweet flavor and, because of their lower sugar content, a lighter texture with a little less chew than some of our other varieties.
